Jesus Is Our Hope

2 Corinthians 4:7-9 "But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God; and not of us."  "We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed."  If I ask, "how many of you in the last 3 years have been through situations like financial difficulties, family situations, work difficulties, diseases, etc?  Maybe 90% or all of you will say "I've been there." Like every human being, we go through situations we do not like, but one thing I can tell you is that as Christians we do have somebody that is with us at all times, JESUS OUR SAVIOR.  He will give us strength when we have none, He will be our comfort in difficult times, He will supply all our needs according to His riches in Glory. No matter what our need is, He is with us and we can surely rest in His arms.  He will embrace and talk to us if we take times to listen.  He said, "Do not fear for I am with you, do not dismayed because I'm your God, I will give you strength."  We all depend on Him.  He is our hope.  He came to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, to open the prison to them that are bound, to comfort all that mourn, to give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness that He might be glorified. (Isaiah 61)  The joy  of The Lord is our strength!
